Lucky bride Debbie Gregory scooped a £10,000 wedding windfall when she won a lottery scratchcard before walking down the aisle.
Debbie, 56, was “feeling lucky” putting the final touches together for her marriage to groom Phillip James, 47, when she bought the £2 scratchcard.
Debbie, of Cardigan, West Wales , said: “I only popped in on the spur of the moment.
“I bought the scratchcard because I felt lucky and when I checked it I could hardly believe my eyes.
“It was lucky I had a day off otherwise I wouldn’t have gone to the shop.
“The win meant we could have a few extra bottles of prosecco at our party to celebrate and next year we’d like to go away on a big family holiday.”
